$5000 reward in SEPTA bus driver shooting

PHILADELPHIA - December 6, 2011

The Citzens Crime Commission and the Transport Workers Union announced Tuesday that they are partnering together to offer the reward.

The shooting happened at the intersection of Snyder and Vare avenues in South Philadelphia back in September.

Police say the female victim, an operator of the Route 79 bus, was shot in the arm.

After being hit, the female driver then drove herself to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

No passengers were on the bus at the time of the incident.
