4 suspects wanted in Del. outlet store robbery

REHOBOTH, Del. - December 6, 2011

The incident occurred in September, inside of the Vanity Fair Outlet Store on the 36000 block of Bayside Outlet Drive.

Police say one of the suspects - a black female in her 20s - removed two pairs of jeans from a display rack and placed them in her bag.

The woman then left the store accompanied by another female.

It was at this point that a security officer approached the women and confronted them regarding the stolen merchandise.

The security guard asked the suspect to go back inside the store and return the pants.

The woman refused, and attempted to punch the guard.

The officer was able to grab the bag from suspect as she and the other female fled to a silver vehicle parked nearby.

As the security guard approached the vehicle, the male driver got out of the car and ordered the victim to stay away, implying that he was armed with a gun.

No weapon was ever displayed but soon after the suspects fled the scene.

The first suspect is described as a black female, 20-28 years of age, 5'01" tall, 125 lbs, with a thin build. She's picture in surveillance photos wearing a cap on her head.

The second suspect is described as a black female, 20-28 years of age, 5'03" tall, large build. She's pictured in surveillance photos wearing a striped shirt.

No description for the female passenger and the male driver have been released.

Anyone with information regarding the suspects is asked to contact Delaware State Police.
