The accident occurred around 8:46 Friday morning near the intersection of Franklinville-Willliamstown Road.
Police say one of the trucks, driven by a women in her 40s, crossed the center lane and was hit by an oncoming truck.
Both drivers were trapped inside of their respective vehicles and had to be extricated by emergency personnel.
The woman was transported to Kennedy Hospital before being airlifted to Cooper Trauma Center with serious injuries, where she later died. The other driver was also airlifted to Cooper with injuries to his neck and chest. The collision is under investigation
