Police were called to the unit block of East Thompson Avenue in Pleasantville at about 9:30 Friday night.
When they arrived, they found 51-year-old Ellis Spell, Senior dead from a gunshot wound.
He is the third murder victim of the year in Pleasantville.
Police have not announced the arrest of his killer.
