Donation jar for Children's Hospital stolen

A charity jar filled with money raised for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is in the wrong hands.

The theft happened at Twin Auto Body in Southwest Philadelphia.

Police say the suspect first posed as a salesman.

When the owner told him he wasn't interested, the man came back a short time later asking for a job.

Then on his third return, the suspect made his move and stole the jar off the front counter.

Police say the jar contained $400.

The suspect fled on a bicycle in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20's, thin, 5'8", goatee, light grey or white hooded sweatshirt, grey or black jacket, and blue jeans.
