The accident occurred along the 1800 block of Hurffville Road shortly after midnight. There the driver of a car, bearing Georgia tags, lost control, left the roadway and struck a pole.
That driver and two passengers were rushed to area hospitals for treatment of serious injuries.
Police are trying to determine if the driver was impaired as well as if speed was a contributing factor.
It is believed all the occupants were in their early 20s.
