Online court records don't list an attorney for 25-year-old Clayton Mibroda, of Bolivar, who was arraigned on a charge of criminal homicide late Thursday.
Indiana County Coroner Michael Baker says little Natalee Kay Mibroda died Tuesday in the emergency room at the Indiana Regional Medical Center. The coroner says the child's injuries were inconsistent with a report by a family member that the child was hurt during a single, accidental incident that the coroner and police have yet to describe.
Instead, Baker says the injuries are consistent with abuse and noted at least one injury was inflicted a day or more before Tuesday's alleged assault.
Police say their investigation determined Clayton Mibroda inflicted those injuries, though they've not immediately revealed how they occurred.
