The holdup happened shortly before 4:00 p.m. at the bank branch located on the 400 block of Baltimore Pike.
Authorities say the armed man got away with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was hurt during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a white male, between 20 and 30-years-old, about 6 feet 6 inches tall, with a thin build. He also had a beige bandage on his right cheek.
He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, electric blue Nike sneakers, aviator sunglasses and a black brimmed winter hat.
Anyone with information on the suspect is urged to contact police.
