Expect brighter jobs report
Ahead of tomorrow's report on employment we got more indications today that the jobs market is looking a little brighter as we start the New Year. Private companies added 325,000 thousand jobs last month according to the ADP Employment Report. That numbers was a lot more than economists were expecting. Also the number of Americans filing for unemployment benefits dropped last week to levels not seen in three years. So ,overall a strong start this year in the jobs market.

US Airways has best quarter
US Airways had a great close to the year and let's hope it continues. The company had its best ever fourth quarter operational performance. Even with 2 million customers traveling during the busy holiday season between December 22 and January 1m the airline still had their best on-time, baggage handling and departure performances. The airline also saw revenue climb 11% last month and that was more than expected.

Titanic artifacts
It's been 100 years since the sinking of the HMS Titanic and now 5,000 artifacts are going to be auctioned off according to the Associated Press. Items as small as a hairpin and as big as a chunk of the Titanic's hull are up for sale. The collection of items was appraised in 2007 at $189 million. The auction is taking place very close to the 100 year anniversary of the Titanic disaster which occurred on April 15, 1912.
