The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. as a male suspect entered the Days Inn Hotel and confronted the 46-year-old male clerk located at the front desk.
The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money.
The clerk complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.
He is described as a white male, 30-40 years old, 6' tall, 200-220 pounds, with a large build. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black knit cap.
There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
