A 14-year-old girl told investigators that a man grabbed her and told her to get into his car.
It happened around 3:50 p.m. Thursday in the 3200 block of North Market Street.
The victim says the suspect let her go and drove away when someone else walked by.
The suspect is described as a black male with a thin beard and a mustache.
He was last seen driving a cream or tan-colored Cadillac with a tan interior and chrome wheels.
