Loved ones huddled together on the block where a mother and her two lost their lives. They came to remember them.
"Everybody out here is a family, everybody who knew her, she was my sister, she was my friend, everybody loved my sister," said Carl Searle, the victim's brother.
The fire ripped through the second floor home on the 6800 block of Torresdale Avenue Tuesday.
43 year old Glorida Searle, her 13 year old son, Anthony Ramos, and her 19 year old daughter, Krystal Boretto were killed.
"It's so bad how they went, and so fast. One day they're here, and then the next they're gone, and it just tears your heart out because it just hurts so bad," said Anna Czerniak.
At Friday night's emotional candlelight vigil, Searle's daughter thanked everyone for their support.
"I know everybody wishes it wasn't this way, but God must have wanted them for a reason," said Searle.
The fire also destroyed the Fresh and Sharp Barbershop owned by a man who had known the family for quite some time.
"It's just tearing me up inside," said Norm White. "I don't know what to say, I don't know what to feel. I'm just really numb right now. It's just hurts so bad. I mean, I loved them. I loved them so much."
The cause of the devastating fire is still under investigation.
And as the community begins to heal, a memorial service for the three victims will be held on Monday.
