It happened just after 3:00pm Saturday afternoon in the 200 block of East Roosevelt Boulevard.
Authorities say crews found the body of a woman inside the home after the fire was put out.
A 57-year old man was saved by a very brave construction worker who broke a window and rushed in.
The man was transported to Temple University Hospital with burns to his head and face.
Authories say there were at least four people in the home at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
