Animal welfare officials in central New York are trying place a six and a-half foot long boa constrictor that was found under a house.
The homeowner got quite a scare when he was doing some work under his home.
But officials say the man was able to coax the snake into a pillow case and brought it to the local SPCA shelter.
The SPCA experts don't know if the big boa is an escaped pet or was deliberately set loose.
