The fire was first reported around 1:35 p.m. in the 3600 block of Genesee Drive.
When crews arrived they found a two-story home with heavy fire on the second floor.
Firefighters at the scene say they believed fireworks were being stored on the second floor and may have been going off during the fire.
Officials say they are trying to confirm if this is accurate.
Two firefighters and one civilian were transported to area hospitals in stable condition.
The fire was placed under control at 2:23 p.m.
