The Campaign for Working Families is there to help families with free tax filing assistance.
It offers e-filing, direct deposit, U.S. Savings Bonds and the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) completion, public benefits applications and fairly-priced financial products.
The Campaign operates 11 community based tax sites that opened January 25, 2012.
The Campaign's services are available to families earning $50,000 or less, and to individuals earning $20,000 or less. The locations and hours of service of the Campaign's free tax sites are available on the website www.CWFPhilly.org or call 311. Taxes are prepared by IRS-certified volunteers.
