Arrest made in North Phila. triple shooting

Police say they have arrested a suspect in a triple shooting in North Philadelphia on Thursday.

Alfonzo Priester, 19, from the 2200 block of West Tioga Street was arrested for the crime.

The shooting happened around 5:50 p.m. in the parking lot of a Thriftway shopping center in the 2700 block of North 22nd Street.

Police say the victims, a 32-year-old male who was shot in the upper thigh, a 29-year-old female who was shot twice in the left shoulder and a 19-year-old male was shot in the right ankle suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Priester was charged with three counts of Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats, Violation of the Uniform Firearms Act and related offenses.

There was no word on what sparked the shooting.
