It happened around 11:00 a.m. Sunday on the 2400 block of West York Street.
No word on what sparked the crash but upon impact the 4-year-old child was thrown from the car.
The child was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital as a code blue and was pronounced dead a short time later.
A 22-year-old and a 43-year-old - also inside the vehicle - were taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.
The accident remains under investigation.
