It happened around 7:30pm Sunday night in the 1900 block of Rowan Street in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.
Police say a 34 year old woman was shot twice in the back and her 13 year old daughter was shot twice in the right leg.
Both were taken to Temple University Hospital by private vehicle. The woman is critical condition, and her daughter is stable condition.
Police have an idea who the male suspect is, but he remains at large.
