Third arrest in Newark, Del. shootings

NEWARK, Del. - January 31, 2012

23-year-old Claude Lacomb of Newark, Del. is charged with first degree murder, attempted robbery and other offenses, in connection with a deadly shooting at the Harbor Club Apartment complex in Newark, Del.

The attempted robbery and shooting on December 26 left 20-year-old Michael Thomas dead and 23-year-old Keifer C. Wright clinging to life. Wright died several days later of his wounds.

Police say Lacomb conspired with his brother, 20-year-old Paul Lacomb of Philadelphia, and 24-year-old Elijah Pressley of Newark, Del. to rob and kill the victims.

Pressley and Paul Lacomb are both behind bars at the Howard Young Correctional Institute.

Authorities tracked down Claude Lacomb in Philadelphia on Saturday and arrested him. He also being held at Howard Young, without bail.
