Police say 18-year-old Elizabeth Bossert scrawled anarchy symbols, devil horns and messages on the figure at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bangor, Northampton County in early January.
The figure was found hanging in a tree outside the church.
Investigators say tips led to vandalism and criminal mischief charges being filed against Bossert on Jan. 25. She's scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Feb. 21.
