Police: N.J. duo took elderly mom to drug buy

BAYONNE, N.J. - February 14, 2012

Clinton McComb and another man were arrested Friday afternoon after they were observed driving up to a building, going inside and then counting money as they came out.

Police say a stop of the car yielded 59 bags believed to contain heroin and about $200 in cash - and McComb's mother.

It's not clear if the mother was along for the ride or whether she was being used to deflect suspicion. Police say she appeared disoriented.

The 47-year-old McComb and 55-year-old Stephen Agnello, both of Bayonne, face several drug charges and a charge of neglect of the elderly. It's not known if they had retained attorneys.
