Police and medics responded shortly after 6:00 p.m. to the Buffalo Wild Wings located along route 40 in Bear.
Arriving police and medics found a 19-year-old woman shot inside a car.
She suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the head and chest.
Medics rushed her to Christiana Hospital for care.
She is critical.
A further search revealed that the woman had actually been shot a short distance away in the parking lot of Apple Chase Apartments located off Ashkirk Drive.
Police found approximately 12 shell casings in the parking lot outside the apartments.
No arrests have been made so far.
