Action News first reported the story last month.
Max Troitsky is fighting for his daughter Julie to be returned from Russia.
Max and his estranged wife, Anna, were granted joint custody last year.
But just before Thanksgiving, Anna took their toddler to Russia without Max's consent.
Action News confronted Anna Troitsky in Moscow this week as she headed to court. She was there to ask a judge for a divorce and child support from Max.
In Russia, Anna dodged our camera when we tried to ask if she intended to return Julie home to Southampton.
We showed that video to Max who says this further proves Anna's intentions to stay in Moscow.
"She probably feels falsely protected in Russia, but she should know we are not giving up here and I will not stop at anything to bring Julie home," Troitsky said.
Troitsky is working with the US Embassy hoping to pressure Russia into honoring an international treaty that would enforce the original custody agreement.
In the meantime, he's formed a website "Help Bring Julie Home," hoping to rally public support.
