Possible savior for Phila. Sunoco refinery
In an exclusive interview with Bloomberg News, New York billionaire John Catsimatidis, who formed United Refining Company says he may buy the Sunoco refinery in Philadelphia.
The refinery was set to close by July 1 if a buyer wasn't found. Catsimatidis tells us he will decide this month whether to make an offer for the plant. One analyst said the refinery may be bargain at $400 million since Sunoco was planning on shutting it down. New Bank of America fee hike
There are reports that Bank of America could add new fees to its checking accounts -- up to $9.
The Wall Street Journal says the bank is considering charging the monthly fees unless customers agree to bank online, buy more products or maintain a certain minimum balance.
In the fall, Bank of America scrapped a five dollar debit card fee after customers revolted.
Spirit Airlines flying A.C. to Boston
Spirit Airlines is once again offering flights from Atlantic City International Airport to Boston.
The service originally began in 2009 with year-round flights, but the airline cut service in the fall and winter.
Spirit will also resume season service from AC. to Detroit and Chicago on May 3rd. Later in may, Spirit plans to launch new seasonal service to Atlanta.
