Police say Laurin B. Morillo-Diaz, 20, of Pleasantville, died in the crash on the Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township at 1:15 a.m. Friday.
According to police, Morillo-Diaz was travelleing eastbound in the area of Bennett Chevrolet when he lost control and was ejected from his car.
Morillo-Diaz became trapped under the car, police said, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the car, 19-year-old Homero Vilorio Hidalgo of Atlantic City, was seriously injured.
The crash also damaged two cars on the lot at Bennett Chevrolet.
Traffic was detoured for about three hours for the crash investigation and cleanup.
An investigation into how the crash happened continues.
