Pitt clinic shooting victims in fair, good condition

PITTSBURGH - March 11, 2012

A spokeswoman for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center says a 35-year-old man is listed in good condition while two other men aged 46 and 49 are listed as fair and a 65-year-old woman is also listed in fair condition. Another patient was discharged Friday.

Police say 30-year-old John Shick opened fire shortly after entering the lobby of the Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic on Thursday afternoon.

A possible motive hasn't been released. Authorities say he was killed by University of Pittsburgh police who had trained for a Virginia Tech-style shooting.
