Camden Co. dispatcher charged with underage sex

CAMDEN, N.J. - March 15, 2012

Camden County Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk says 44-year-old Matt Call of Mount Ephraim interacted with the girl online and twice in person over a period of five months.

Faulk says the relationship began online, primarily through Facebook, where Call used the pseudonym "Steven Lyons." Call allegedly convinced the girl to send him pornographic images of herself. Prosecutors say the two met face-to-face twice, both times within the past month. During one of those encounters, they allegedly engaged in sexual activity.

Call worked as a dispatcher with the Camden County emergency dispatch in Lindenwold.

Call was charged Wednesday with Luring, Sexual Assault, Endangering the Welfare of a Child by Distributing Child Pornography, Endangering the Welfare of a Child by Engaging in Sexual Conduct, two counts of Criminal Sexual Contact and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child by Creating Child Pornography.

Anyone with information on inappropriate contact between Call and other minors, possibly while Call was using the alias "Steven Lyons," is urged to contact Camden County Prosecutor's Office Investigator Michelle Chambers at (856) 580-6070.
