At 2:30 a.m. Sunday, police responded to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center located at 1925 Pacific Avenue, Atlantic City, in reference to the theft of an ambulance.

The ambulance, embossed with City of Atlantic City and Exceptional Medical Transport logos, was stolen from the emergency room loading area at the emergency room entrance.

Police say emergency medical personnel had transported a patient into the emergency room for treatment and upon exiting the hospital noticed the ambulance was gone.
