Cpl. Jeffrey Hale said Wednesday that 20-year-olds Byron Jenkins, of Wilmington, and Takara Miller, of New Castle, have each been charged with robbery, assault, criminal mischief and conspiracy.
Hale says a man and woman from Philadelphia were accosted while walking to their vehicle at Christiana Mall on Monday. He says a Buick sedan pulled up alongside their vehicle, and that a man got out and wrestled with the victims over an Apple store shopping bag. Hale says the man took the bag and fled in the Buick.
Authorities tracked down the Buick to a residence in Wilmington, where Jenkins and Miller were taken into custody.
