The first incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of Gilmore Street. Police say a silver pickup truck with big wheels pulled up to a 12-year-old girl. The girl was able to escape and described the suspect as a bald man with white grey hair.
The second happened shortly after 9:00 p.m. Thursday outside of the Ridley Community Center on Morton Avenue. Police say the suspect, a heavy set male, approached a 12-year-old boy in a dark green jeep.
Police confirm that both took place within blocks of each other near the Ridley Township High School but are not believed to be connected.
