"I don't have much to say; I just can't believe it," Joseph said when he was given the oversized check from New Jersey Lottery.
In fact, the Tamburellos say they felt like they were dreaming when they checked the numbers on their ticket this past Friday night.
The happy couple decided on the one time pay-out. So the lump sum drops from $70-million to $41.5-million before taxes. That's still enough to buy a brand new Cadillac, for starters.
Celeste says she's going to trade in her 15-year-old Saturn for a Cadillac Escalade in the very near future.
It's also enough for Celeste to walk away from her job with a local food services company.
"Been there 15 years tomorrow and I'm going in to give my two week notice," Celeste said.
And 53-year-old Joseph Tamburello, a self-employed computer consultant, is also retiring.
The Tamburellos say they have no children, but do have a large extended family.
One of the first things they plan on doing is taking their family on "a big vacation."
