The robbery happened at approximately 4:30 p.m. back on March 14, 2012. Police say the victim was waiting for the bus at the corner of 52nd and Market Streets when a man approached him demanding his property. The victim said he ignored the suspect and got on the SEPTA bus as it pulled to the stop.
A few stops later, the suspect along with two other men got on the bus, pointed out the victim, grabbed him and took his cell phone and trans pass.
The suspects then got off the bus in the area of 52nd and Haverford Avenue.
The primary suspect is described as a black male, 18-21 years-of-age, 200lbs, standing 5'10", with short hair and a mustache wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.
The two men with the suspect during the robbery are being considered persons of interests. The first is described as a black male, 18-21 years-of-age, 160 lbs, standing 5'10", wearing a green shirt with a "Dirty clean" logo, tan pants and a camouflage hat. The second is described as a black male, 18-21 years-of-age, 170 lbs, standing 5'11", with braided hair, wearing a white T shirt, blue jeans, with a key-chain around his neck and a black and blue hat.
