It happened just before 3:30am yesterday in the Elmhurst Development.
Police arrived to the 300 block of Wiinston Avenue after a report of a robbery with a weapon.
They spoke with a 19 year old male victim who told them, two males had entered the home and assaulted him, removed his property and then fled the residence heading in an unknown direction.
The victim was asleep prior to being awakened by two unknown male suspects who had their faces concealed and were armed with handguns.
The suspects were described as two black males who were wearing dark hooded sweatshirts.
Police canvassed the area and conducted interviews in an attempt to gain more information relating to the incident.
Assisting officers and a canine team responded and searched for the suspects, but they were unsuccessful in locating them.
