Trista Reynolds of Portland says she continues to pray for Ayla's safe return but needs answers - good or bad - about her daughter's fate.
Ayla was 20 months old when she was last seen in her father's home on the night of Dec. 16 in Waterville. Ayla's second birthday is next week.
Reynolds says she believes Ayla's father, Justin DiPietro, knows more than he's telling investigators. Investigators also believe DiPietro and two other adults in the home that night haven't told them all that they know. So far, there have been no arrests - and no signs of Ayla.
