'Brick Bandit' wanted for 2 Lansdowne pharmacy robberies

LANSDOWNE, Pa. - March 30, 2012

The first robbery happened at approximately 1:55 p.m. on Monday at the Rite-Aid store, located at 62 E. Baltimore Avenue. According to investigators, a white male entered the store saying that if he wasn't given all the Oxycodone in the store, he would hit someone with a brick.

Considering he appeared to have bricks in his hoodie pocket, the pharmacist gave him an undisclosed amount of pills. The man then left the store.

Then at approximately 6:35 p.m., a white male entered the CVS store, located at 119 E. Baltimore Avenue, demanding Oxycodone.

The suspect was holding a large rock and threatened the pharmacist. The man was then given an undisclosed amount of pills and was last seen fleeing through the parking lot.

The suspect in the first case is described as 5'10" to 6'2" tall, 20 to 30-years-old, wearing a dark colored hoodie gathered tightly around his face, a black winter hat, black boots/shoes and large aviator type mirrored sunglasses.

The male in the second case is described as 5'10" to 6' tall, 20 to 30-years-old, wearing a tight fitting olive colored ski cap, sunglasses, a green t-shirt with a long sleeved white shirt underneath, Chuck Taylor type black sneakers and black gloves.

Considering the similarity in description and MO, police believe the same man is responsible for both robberies.

Surveillance images from the CVS robbery are posted above. If you recognize the man, or have any information concerning these robberies, you are asked to contact the Lansdowne Police Department at 610-623-0700.
