3-alarm warehouse fire in Hunting Park

HUNTING PARK - March 31, 2012

It happened around 1:44 Saturday morning at Hutchinson and Tioga streets.

Several reports came in of smoke pouring from the second and third floors.

Within moments of arrival, firefighters found flames shooting from the upper floors. The rear of the building started to collapse and the third alarm was struck.

Crews remained on the scene throughout most of the night to bring the blaze under control.

No injuries were reported. While no one was inside at the time, the building wasn't completely vacant, there were a number of supplies inside.

The warehouse is the site of the former D.R. Beardsley Painting Company.
