Flames broke out around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday at The Village of Newtown South Shopping Center, located on the 2100 block of Eagle Road in Newtown Township.
The fire appears to have started in Sarcone's Deli and spread to Marco's Pizza next door. Both stores suffered serious damage.
There were no injuries reported.
It took firefighters over an hour to get the blaze under control.
So far, there is no word on a cause.
