Crystal clear picture of grocery robbery suspect

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA - April 4, 2012

According to investigators, it was approximately 8:49 p.m. on March 14, 2012 when two armed males entered the Peralta Grocery Store, located at 6935 Dicks Avenue.

Both suspects approached the counter, pointed their handguns at the store employee and demanded money.

One of the suspects leaned over the counter and took $300 in cash from the register and several packs of cigarettes. However, in the process a security camera was able to capture a close, clear picture of him.

Both suspect then fled the store on foot.

The first suspect is described as a black male, standing 5'6"-5'8", 160 lbs, wearing a black Nike hooded sweatshirt, and armed with a black revolver.

The second suspect is described as a black male, standing 5'7", 160 lbs, wearing a white tank top with a black shirt covering his face, and armed with a silver handgun.
