2 arrested in robbery of pharmacy in Delaware

NEWARK, Del. - April 5, 2012

Police say a man jumped over the counter, displayed a knife and demanded prescription drugs from the pharmacist about 1 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities say the man fled with the drugs to a wooded area behind the store. The man, 23-year-old Christopher Kramer, was apprehended by police following a brief chase.

Police say they later learned that another man, 23-year-old Matthew Miller, had slipped candy into a duffel bag and left the store shortly after the robbery. Investigators say they determined that Miller was serving as a lookout for Kramer during the robbery.

Both men were charged with first-degree robbery and theft, among other charges.
