Police plan to charge stepdad in Pa. road rage

UNIONTOWN, Pa. - April 5, 2012

The Associated Press is not identifying either man because troopers from the Uniontown barracks had yet to file criminal charges early Thursday.

But Trooper Stefani Plume tells reporters the incident happened about 7:15 p.m. Tuesday when the stepson crashed his motorcycle on Route 51 in Franklin Township, Fayette County.

Police say further investigation revealed that the stepson crashed because his stepfather was waiting alongside the highway and pulled into the path of the motorcycle, forcing it off the road. Police say the men have a "history" of violent disagreements and that they had argued sometime before the crash.
