APNewsBreak: Kan. board seeks abortion files pact

TOPEKA, Kan. - April 05, 2012

Kelli Stevens, general counsel for the State Board of Healing Arts told The Associated Press on Thursday that records still held by Krishna Rajanna have been moved to a secure location. Stevens declined to say where.

Rajanna did not immediately return a telephone message left at his Overland Park home.

He confirmed last month that he deposited hundreds of records in a bin near his home, to dispose of old files.

The records were from a Kansas City, Kan., clinic that closed in 2005 after the board revoked Rajanna's Kansas medical license.
