Arrest in murder of woman found in burning car in Hunting Park

HUNTING PARK - April 5, 2012

Daniel Soler, 30, of the 3200 block of Brandywine Street, was arrested on Wednesday for the murder of 33-year-old Tinesha Carr.

Soler has been charged with Murder, Arson and related offenses.

It was at 2:19 a.m. on Sunday when police responded to a car fire at 4519 North 3rd Street.

Upon arrival, police found a 2002 Chrysler Sebring on fire. Once the fire was out, police found Carr's body inside the vehicle.

Investigators also found two bullet holes in the front passenger side door.

Police did not immediately disclose the motive in this crime or the relationship between Soler and Carr.

One of Carr's friends, who spoke to Action News, said Soler was an ex-boyfriend of Carr and the father of her two children.
