Prosecutors defend search in Earl Bradley case

WILMINGTON, Del. - April 10, 2012

The News Journal reports prosecutors filed papers Monday with the Delaware Supreme Court in response to an appeal by lawyers for Dr. Earl Bradley. Bradley's lawyers say police botched a search of the physician's offices during which they found video evidence of Bradley molesting children.

Prosecutors argue that a lower court judge was right to allow the videos to be part of the case against Bradley.

Last year, Bradley was sentenced to 14 life sentences without parole for 14 counts of first-degree rape. He also was sentenced to more than 160 years in prison for multiple counts of assault and sexual exploitation of a child.
