Mother and child hospitalized after NJ fire

WINSLOW TWP., N.J. - April 10, 2012

The fire was reported just before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at a 2-story home in the 100 block of Cedar Brook Road in Winslow Township.

Crews arrived to find a resident, identified as Dina Panarello, standing outside the home with her 3-year-old child.

Panarello was flown to Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia to be treated for smoke inhalation. The child was taken to Virtua Hospital in Berlin, N.J. for observation.

It took crews 40 minutes to bring the blaze under control.

A Winslow Township fire fighter suffered minor burns to his hands.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
