It happened shortly after 2:00 Saturday morning on the 1700 block of North 27th Street.
Police arrived to a chaotic scene and found several people running from the home.
The young boy was discovered with a gunshot wound to the leg.
He was taken to Temple University Hospital and later transferred to St. Christopher's Hospital in stable condition.
Several people inside the home were taken in for questioning but police did not name any suspects.
So far, no word on what sparked the shooting.
