Pilot killed in single-engine plane crash in Ohio

NEWCOMERSTOWN, Ohio (AP) - April 21, 2012

A dispatcher with the State Highway Patrol in New Philadelphia said authorities received a call at 12:23 p.m. Saturday that a plane had gone down in a wooded area.

The pilot was the plane's only occupant. The patrol has identified the man as 59-year-old Emil Bisaccia of New Jersey, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. No further details were immediately available.
