Police: Montco man, 22, raped girl, 12

LANSDALE, Pa. - April 24, 2012

Lansdale Police say they began investigating after a concerned relative found sexually explicit posts on the girl's Facebook page that began when the girl was 11.

Investigators eventually determined that the posts had come from an adult man, who had invited the girl to his home, given her marijuana in his bedroom, and had sex with her.

On Monday police arrested Lafonsa Perry, 22, of the 100 block of Penn Street in Lansdale, Pa. Police say they found marijuana, a digital scale and other equipment in Perry's apartment. He has been charged with:

-Rape of a Child
-Statutory Sexual Assault
-Indecent Assault under 13
-Indecent Assault under 16
-Corruption of Minors
-Unlawful Contact with Minor
-Possession of Control Substance
-Possession of Paraphernalia

Perry is being held at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility after failing to post $50,000 cash bail.
