It happened around 10:30 Saturday morning on the 600 block of Kaighns Avenue.
Authorities say the flames quickly spread to another vacant building and crews struck the second and third alarms.
It took about an hour for the fire to be brought under control.
No injuries were reported and investigators are still searching for the exact cause of the blaze.
