Officers say the woman's car went out of control about 2:00 a.m., on Tuesday, at the intersection of Harbison Avenue and Van Kirk Street in the Wissinoming section of the city.
Witnesses told police that three cars were traveling at a high rate of speed down the street when the one car spun out of control.
The injured woman is in stable condition at the hospital with several injuries.
The two other cars stopped.
Police are questioning those drivers.
So far, there's no word on any charges.
